An All Girls Coding Program
The GirlCode Program provides a space for ambitious, change-making young ladies to learn, create, and code.
During each 2 week session, GirlCoders go on field trips to incredible startups like Google, Tumblr or Facebook and meet with inspirational female mentors in STEM. We support the growth of intellectual confidence, which we believe promotes positive self-esteem and confidence in all areas of their lives.

Why Should my Daughter Learn To Code?
Our goal is to empower young ladies to see the power in coding. Coding is a way to solve problems. BIG PROBLEMS. They could create an app that helps people donate leftover food to homeless shelters. Or even send drones with portable wifi devices to Africa to give children access to a free online education!
By 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in computing related fields but currently women represent 18%. We want to change this statistic. Coding is a powerful tool to help your daughter change the world.
What Activities Happen During GirlCode?
While our ladies may not get to send drones to Africa this summer, they will be introduced to the essentials of programming logic. See what our GirlCoders last summer did here.
Our tech tours are held at the end of the 2 week session and allow students to interact with Female Engineers at amazing startups! They get to ask questions and see inside the Silicon Valley Dream. These are the startups we visited last year:
